Mark Hawkins to me is one of the most unique EDM producers since 2000. Being heavy influences Europe and the USA, Mark has always tried to push the limits of his music and not copy styles. From wonky techno, experimental acid, and Chicago banging treats, there is always something for everyone to latch on to. I first heard of Mark when i was working at Nemesis music in the USA about 12 years ago. I was brining in records from Infectious, Intergroove, Jed-Eye, and some of the other big techno distributors. I received a promo of “Ctrl Alt Delete” on Djax-Up-Beats. I was very impressed with this track, because it displayed unique sounds that separated it from the repetitive techno at the time. So I ordered 400 copies. (We sold out in 2 days). Releasing on many great labels such as Djax, 4×4 Recordings, Horspielmusik, Predicaments, and his own Crime label Mark flourished with new and sound breaking ideas. Playing all over the world brining his sound to many countries, we are very humbled to have Mark allow us to feature his live set at Damenhandschuhfabrik in Leipzig, Germany on 11/19/11.
